Shareasale

The image above shows the money I’ve been paid by Shareasale. I’ve actually got $283 coming around the 20th of this month that isn’t shown here, too. The months where I made $0 are months I didn’t really try promoting the product I was working on. When I promote it decently I can usually get $200-$300 per month. Months I don’t do as much work pull around $80-$150 per month. Keep in mind that this is from promoting just ONE product. And this is from ONE network.

Plimus

This one was a bit hard to do because the image is HUGE. If you can’t see it well enough just click on the image and it will appear in full size. This image depicts my Plimus income up to this very day. You can’t see anything before February 2010 because the image was simply way too big but you get the picture. I’ve earned A LOT with Plimus and mainly from just 2 different products. But, as you can see in the image I’ve earned a total of $36,232.02 with this site alone.

Clickbank

This is my Clickbank payment proof. Again, I apologize for the size, it was impossible to fit the entire thing and it was very big. Please just click on the image and you will see it in its entirety. Clickbank makes me roughly $100-$200 per month. The payments you see that are marked “PAID” are weekly payments. They may not seem like a lot but, hey, it’s extra money and it does add up. I could be doing a lot more with Clickbank. There are people that I know personally that make 5 and 6 figure salaries using Clickbank alone but it takes a lot of work to get to those numbers. It is possible though.

To not make this post super lengthy I’m going to end it there. I just wanted you guys to see that I’m not pulling your leg when I say that I do make money online. I don’t lie. This is only a small portion of what I have made of the past 2 years. And keep in mind that when I started I had $0 to my name, no way to buy anything to help me and I knew NOTHING about internet marketing.

If you put your mind to it and make good use of the time you dedicate to this stuff, you can make some serious cash and literally change your life. That’s what happened to me. I went from being 21 years old and not a dime to my name to making $2,000 my first month and having my best month of over $7,000. I NEVER dreamed that internet marketing would be my financial savior (sorry, had to make a funny!) but it has turned out to be the BEST thing that has EVER happened to me.

This is the stuff I’ve been doing for 2 years and the exact same stuff that I will be teaching YOU how to do.

In the past year and a half the website known as Fiverr has become massively popular and is a FANTASTIC way to build an extra income stream for yourself. I was a bit skeptical about using this site when I first found out about it but now I wouldn’t live without it. If done right you can easily squeeze a couple hundred bucks a month out of this site (possibly much more depending on your efforts).

One of the best things about Fiverr is that you don’t need a website to use it. Fiverr allows you to post “gigs” that you will do for $5. Granted, you only get $4 because Fiverr takes $1 of every sale, but believe me IT ADDS UP QUICK.  These are usually online things such as writing a blog post for a webmaster, building backlinks for websites, doing simple graphic design, Tweeting messages to your Twitter followers, doing video reviews of products/services/websites and various other tasks.

Does that mean you can’t participate if you don’t know how to do anything online? NO! Many Fiverr sellers also make a good bit of cash doing easy things like singing Happy Birthday on video, creating cheap clothing/accessories such as T-shirts and earrings to ship to buyers and other cool, simple things. The trick is to do something unique and creative, kind of like what THIS GUY does. He speaks messages in any cartoon character voice and it’s a VERY popular service. Use your own unique talents to come up with something different and catchy and you’ll find yourself swamped with orders.

Tips for Making the Best of Fiverr

1. Be Creative
2. Be Professional
3. ALWAYS Attach a Video Describing Your Service
4. Promote Your Gig on Your Facebook/Twitter Accounts
5. Be Timely (get stuff done ON TIME)
6. Be Generous (give a little extra in each gig than what you post, this creates a TON of positive reviews and regular customers for your gigs)
7. Be Articulate and Friendly

One of the first things you need to do to get started in internet marketing is start a blog. There are two ways to do this.

1. Purchasing a Domain & Hosting
2. Setup a FREE Blog

The best option is and always will be buying a domain and hosting. But, I understand not everyone is going to want to throw money into this right away. Granted, a domain can be bought for as cheap as $1.99 and hosting for $4.99/mo but, again, I get not everyone will want to do that. That’s why I have listed the best places to do both below.

If you want to buy a domain (most recommended):

• GoDaddy (best & cheapest for buying a domain & hosting)

If you want to use a completely FREE blog:

• Blogger
• Squidoo
• Tumblr
• Weebly
• LiveJournal

Some of these will not allow you to make a blog on certain topics. If you run into this problem, please contact me and I will help you get through it. My personal favorites of these are the top 3: Blogger, Squidoo & Tumblr. This is because they offer the most customization and are easiest to put links on and get ranked in search engines.

Using a FREE Blog – When you choose a name for your blog make sure it is relevant to the topic you are going to write about. For instance, if we start with promoting Cashcrate, we would want to make a blog title something along the lines of “Make Money Online” or “Easy Money Online”. Those two are probably taken already but you can create some variation of it for a title. Just make sure it’s on topic.

Using a PAID Blog – Once you’ve paid for your domain & hosting you will more than likely need to wait a bit for GoDaddy to register the domain and set your account up. If you are having trouble setting up your account please contact me and I will help you the best that I can. After your account is setup you will need to install WordPress. To do this, login to your GoDaddy account and then under “My Products” click “Web Hosting”.

Once you’ve done that your domain name or hosting package should appear. From here click on “Launch” which will open a new window. On the right side of this page click on “WordPress” under the “Applications” box. This will open another page. Below “application rating” click on “INSTALL NOW!”. Scroll down and select your domain name then click “Next” at the bottom of the page.

Type in a description (usually just one word to label your site) and then create a password. Click “Next”. This brings up a box telling you to install to a folder. Clear out the text box beside your domain name (the part that says “http://www.yourdomainname.com/wordpress). You just need to delete the “wordpress” word that is after the domain. Click “Next” again. On this page you will need to create an “admin” name and a password. The admin name is basically just a username you will use to access your website. This can be anything you want. Type in your email address and then your blog title. Remember to make the blog title something on topic with what you want your website to be about. Click “Finish”.

You have completed the setup of your blog in GoDaddy. This will take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete entirely. Once that time has passed just go to your website (http://www.yourdomain.com) and you will see that you have a blog setup. In order to access the control panel where you will be able to write posts and edit your blog, just go to http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin

The reason I suggest these two is because they are simple, fun and a good place to start learning marketing. Especially Cashcrate because they have a large community forum where people share how they market the site and get people to sign up under them. You can also learn the basics of building a blog and getting it found by Google by reading some of the posts by Cashcrate users.

I would recommend that you start with Cashcrate rather than Project Payday. PPD (project payday) is much different and can take more time to get used to. And they also don’t teach much as far as building a blog goes. You can still sign up with them because I will be teaching more about it later (and it is a good source of cash when you figure it out).

If you can get a load of your friends to sign up under you (remember its completely FREE so it’s easy to get people under you) you can easily start making decent money especially if you show them how to get their friends & family to join. If you are even slightly decent at any of these things you can easily make some nice cash online. How? There are many websites where you can promote yourself and get work. One that is extremely popular lately is a website called Fiverr. This website let’s people post ads for small jobs that they will do for just $5.

Now, $5 may not sound like a lot but you have to look at the big picture. First of all, the “jobs” you are doing are things that will literally take you 5 to 15 minutes to do. That means you’re making $5 for every 5 to 15 minutes of work. That’s a pretty decent rate.

Writing Jobs Online

If you’re good at writing, there are loads of website owners looking for well rounded writers to create content for their blogs, write copy for sales pages and even post on forums for them. These are very easy tasks that can be completed quickly and easily for cash. Manage 10 jobs a day and you’ve got yourself a steady stream of $50 per day for just a few hours a day. That’s $1,500 a month in extra cash for doing something very simple. And that’ just on Fiverr.

You can also go onto webmaster forums such as DigitalPoint and WarriorForum and offer to write articles at a rate you want. I do this off and on and I charge $1 per 100 words. Most website owners looking for content will order several articles that are 300 to 500 words in length each. Just a few of these a day and you’ve got some decent extra cash coming in.

Just like you can get steady work writing you can also find freelance jobs available for photography, web design, graphic design, programming and other things. There are quite a few websites you can go to that are safe because they make sure that you get paid by the person that is hiring you. The best freelance websites include:

1. Guru
2. Elance
3. Odesk

These websites connect you with webmasters and marketers that are looking to have work done. You can bid on jobs they post and make some serious cash (especially if you’re good at what you do). You are completely safe from fraud on these websites, too.

This is just the beginning. I have a lot more that I’m going to share very soon.

What is Internet Marketing?

Well, to be plain and simple, it is nothing more than promoting and selling OTHER PEOPLE’S products. You are given the ability to sell products that you don’t have to create. This is the beauty of internet marketing. There is no product to handle, no shipping, no customer service, nothing. All you have to do is produce leads that turn into purchases.

You have no responsibility other than driving traffic to the sales page.

Does this mean it’s easy? No. Internet marketing is a job. And no matter what you read online, a job is a job. You do have to put time and effort into this in order to make money with it.

How Much Can I Make?

In all honesty, this is completely up to you. The more time and effort that you put into internet marketing, the better the chances are that you will make a sizable income with it. There are those who make $200 – $300 a month with it just working part time. And there are those who make $2500 – $5000+ a month with it who use affiliate marketing (internet marketing & affiliate marketing are the same thing btw) as a full time job.

As with anything else you should set goals to achieve what you want out of it. I posted about setting and achieving goals a while back. If you want to make $500 a month, make sure you set a plan of action to achieve this goal. If you want to make $5000 a month, you’re going to want to do the same, but it’s going to be a much more lengthy plan of action of course.

It is possible to make a full-time income with affiliate marketing. There are many out there who have accomplished that. Again, it’s all dependent on the amount of time and effort that you put into it.

How Do I Get Started?

First off I’d suggest that you sign up for the three major affiliate programs that are available on the internet. They are completely free to sign up for and start using. They are:

• Commission Junction
• Clickbank
• Plimus
• Shareasale

I suggest these because I use them myself and they are quality programs and are great to get started with.

The second step is to choose the products or services that you wish to promote.

This can be a tricky process that we will get more into at a later point in time. Right now I just want you to get the grasp of exactly what internet marketing is. It is important to know what the field is before stepping into it.

The third step, or course, is to start promoting. There are many ways to do this and I won’t go over that right now. We’ll save that for later.That’s pretty much affiliate marketing in a nutshell. It’s fairly easy to get started in and doesn’t require you to pay for anything if you don’t want to.

Just to reiterate the point: affiliate marketing takes TIME AND EFFORT. It is a job. It’s a very rewarding job that you can do out of the comfort of your home.
